Cast out of every place they go. Until they found the Auburn Hotel. Three story maze designed for play. Little too much fun will make the body decay. He found out there were more just like him. Dancing at the bottom. She said "the worst to happen is dying." And that isn't a problem. To reach that point of no return. To lock the door and then start the burn. Earning the attention of the reaper. He is coming. But nobody's running. Welcome to The Auburn Hotel. Down 6th Ave. on Minna St. they will join. Dark underbelly of the Tenderloin. This red brick house will pave the way. Up to their long awaited early graves. He thought that laughing meant that life's good. Clenching onto bottles. She saw that he had misunderstood. But that just fed her habit. One loner said to another. "I stand alone." "Look neighbor, we have each other." But he see's no one. A thief who lurks after midnight. Taking. Having some fun. Brings all his loot back to the Auburn. And puts it in his arm. Was told a long, long, time ago. Not to release the addict gene I hold. While most are drinking to relax. I'm taking 90 straight to the neck. He knocked twice on his bedroom door. She yelled his name, but got no answer.
He walked in just to find him dead. They cleaned his room out in an hour.
