The endless duel. Of acting how I feel. And performing how I think I ought to act. That's just survival. Keeping up to par. With expectations placed on living as a human but it's nothing more than that. Desensitized. Mechanic eyes. Are staring blankly at me. No sign of life. Just preset rhymes. All cocked and at the ready. I know a gem lays deep inside. But times are not too gem friendly. But it's okay. Speak your mind. Mistakes can still be sexy.
